Delivery terms

GENERAL 

The products in the online store are sold by Silent Consulting Oy, business ID 3487080-5. All prices listed include VAT at the applicable rate for the product. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs. 

Accepted orders will be confirmed by email, which will include the order price, shipping costs, and the products ordered. The customer agrees to the delivery terms and conditions in effect with each order.

DELIVERY METHODS 

Travel assistance, 0€ 

We use Matkahuolto to deliver shipments. When the package has been left for Matkahuolto to transport, you will receive a shipment ID in your email, which you can use to track the progress of the package. When the shipment arrives for collection, you will receive an arrival notification to the mobile phone number you provided. The products are then immediately available for collection. If the package is too large to fit in the machine or if there is no space in the machine, Matkahuolto will automatically transfer the package to the next closest possible point.

Pick-up from your chosen Posti, €0

Pick up your ordered products from your local Posti. You will be notified by text message or email when the package arrives, and you can pick up your shipment from Posti on the day it arrives.

Pick-up from your chosen Posti parcel terminal, €0

Pick up your ordered products from the Posti parcel machine of your choice. You will be notified by text message when the package arrives and you can pick up your shipment from the machine immediately.

SHIPPING COSTS 

Shipping costs are determined by your purchases. The shopping cart will update and display shipping costs based on what you are purchasing.

DELIVERY TIME 

We aim to deliver orders for transport no later than the next business day from the date of order, if the products are ready in stock for immediate delivery. 

PAYMENT METHODS 

Paytrail
Payment Intermediation Service is implemented and provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license. In case of complaints, we ask you to primarily contact the product supplier.

offers the most suitable payment methods for every situation. Pay later with a 30-day free payment period or by breaking up larger payments into installments. You buy. You decide. Your transferred personal data will be processed in accordance with Klarna’s own data protection notice .”

RIGHT OF RETURN

Products have a statutory 14-day right of return. The returned product must be intact, in original condition and resalable. The sales packaging must also be resalable. When returning the product, it must be carefully packaged and sent to us via Posti or Matkahuolto. The customer is responsible for the costs of returning the product. If the product is not resalable, the seller has the right to deduct compensation corresponding to the decrease in the product’s value from the return price.

Upon receipt of the return, the seller will refund the purchase price of the product to the customer, provided that the customer has notified the cancellation of the order within 14 days of receipt of the order and that the seller has received the returned product within 14 days of the cancellation notification. The seller will not refund delivery costs paid by the customer to the extent that the delivery costs exceed the price of the most affordable delivery method offered in the online store.

EU directive that entered into force on June 13, 2014:

If the customer has accidentally ordered the wrong product or wants to return/exchange the product(s) for any other reason, the return/reshipment costs will be borne by the customer.

RETURN OF A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT 

When returning a defective or incorrect product, the customer must contact the seller of the product for return instructions. If the customer returns the product because there is a defect in the product, or because the customer has been sent the wrong product, the seller is responsible for the costs of returning the product. 

SHIPMENTS DAMAGED IN DELIVERY

Despite careful packaging, packages do not always arrive intact. For this reason, it is a good idea to check the condition of the package and any possible damage when you pick up the shipment. If the shipment is damaged in transit, immediately report the damage to the shipping company. Also, contact us and we will arrange the delivery of a new product.

WARRANTY 

Silent Consulting Oy complies with the liability for defects in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (38/1978). In addition, we provide a 12-month warranty for our products, which applies to material and manufacturing defects (does not apply to food). If the product’s warranty period differs from this, it will be separately stated on the product. The warranty period begins on the date on the receipt.

In a warranty case, the product, or in practice only the component suspected of being broken, is sent to us for examination and is usually replaced with a completely new one if the warranty is justified.

The warranty does not cover misuse of the products, product modification by the customer, installation errors, failure to follow instructions or other improper actions. The warranty includes the broken component and any shipping costs. The warranty does not cover any installation costs for a part replaced under warranty. Warranty replacement of the product does not extend the original warranty period of the product.

DISPUTES

Out-of-court dispute resolution bodies

If a dispute regarding a sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board ( www.kuluttajariita.fi ).

Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the local magistrates’ consumer advice service ( www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi ). The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform brings together all European dispute resolution bodies ( http://ec.europa.eu/odr ).
